Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at Glentanner Park with my family! The cabins were reasonably priced and perfect for our group. The location is stunning, especially if you plan to explore Mount Cook. While the communal facilities were a bit crowded during peak times, everything was clean and well taken care of. However, I did find the rooms somewhat basic for the price we paid.
My stay at Glentanner Park was a wonderful experience, especially for those looking to explore the stunning Mount Cook area. The location is fantastic, right near the popular hikes. The rooms were basic but surprisingly comfortable. While the dining facilities were a bit cramped during peak times, the food was quite nice. It wasn't the cheapest option for what you get, but overall, it provided good value for a short stay.
I had a mixed experience at the campsite. Despite the beautiful surroundings and well-designated private areas for camping, I was disappointed by the lack of adequate facilities due to a large school group taking over almost everything. The cleanliness was noteworthy, but the long queues for the bathrooms detracted from the overall enjoyment of our stay.
We had a wonderful time camping at this park. The view was absolutely stunning from our tent, and the amenities were just excellent, including hot showers and a well-equipped kitchen. However, our experience was marred slightly by the large school group that took over the communal areas, making it difficult to access shared facilities, particularly the bathrooms.
We had an amazing time heli hiking with breathtaking views of Mount Cook, along with the fantastic expertise of our guide Matt. The experience was not only thrilling but also safe and well-organized. However, our initial experience at the campsite wasn't great; we faced challenges with the facilities being overwhelmed by a large group, which made it less enjoyable.
